For the inaugural ceremony of the Canadian Screen Awards, the first ever presentation was a major success. On Sunday, March 3rd, 2013, The Academy presented awards to 37 Canadian Screen Awards winners in film and television programming categories, including the winners of 4 Academy Special Awards.
The star-studded event, which took place at the Sony Centre for the Performing Arts in Toronto, was hosted by Comedian Martin Short who, with this innate talent, entertained and serenaded the stars.
Erica Durance looked stunningly beautiful in a black Greta Constantine gown Spring/Summer 2013 Collection. The actress presented two awards and was even nominated for Best Performance by an Actress in a Continuing Leading Dramatic Role for her role in Saving Hope. The award eventually went to Meg Tilly for her performance in the seriesBomb Girls.
Prior to the event, March 2, Erica attended FanZone where fans got up close and personal with their favorite Canadian stars.
